| I made one mock scrape 20 yards from my tree stand and three mock rubs 20 to 40 yards away. I used the scents as described. About a week later there was a fresh scrape right next to mine and three more between that and the last mock rub. I have hunted this stand for a few years, but have had more buck activity than ever, including this nice 7 point, shot on 11/2. About a week earlier, I was drawn back on a little larger 8 point when this buck broke from my right and led him away. They went out about 75 yards and started sparring, putting on quite a show, complete with sound! Hope to have a second buck to enter! Thanks Scrapemaker!! |
